And Now Endorsement #2 Kossover for County Court

It was announced today what everyone already knew, County Court Judge J. Micheal Bruhn is retiring the bench after nearly 30 years of service, we wish him the best.

There will be a lot of people running for this post, Wendy Ricks, Don Williams, John Biesel all immediately come to mind and I am sure a lot of town justices will throw their name in as well.

With that being said the Fishbowl strongly throws it's support behind Democrat and U.C. Public Defender Andrew Kossover. Mr. Kossover
is a well seasoned attorney with extensive knowledge of the legal system and is the most qualified to be our next County Court Judge.

Now here's somebody with a thousand times the qualifications in relation to the post of Mrs. Bernardo whose endorsement has been written with care. He may be a little too liberal for this county. (Not too liberal for me.) Obviously this indivdual has earned enough respect to be introduced in a serious manner. This endorsement serves to highlight the absense of weight attributed to Mrs. Bernardo and undercut any claims of seriousness the blog has about her.

a LITTLE too Liberal ????

Andy is wayyyyy Liberal,, his license plate says RIGHTS,

He believes those dirtbags he defends,, scum of the earth, actually have the same rights as the victims of their depraved crimes,

Andy Kossover has my vote! Hey 5:12, ask Tim Masters if defendants should have legal representation. He was wrongly accused and convicted of murder - and was finally freed after 10 years in prison (he's in the news today). Research the Innocence Project. If no one defends the accused, then you too could be falsely accused some day. You should go to prison for something you shouldn't do? I hope you do get picked up some day on some trumped-up charge, and you're stupid enough to not get a lawyer and defend yourself. You should rot in prison, since you're obviously already rotten.

5:12-Just tear up the constitution and put retarded people with delusions of deity back in charge? No thanks. We know what the 14th century was like and medical research has pulled the legitimacy out from under the conservatives. If you're lucky, you'll get to retain some dignity for a little while. The rights of the mentally ill will be there to protect you afterwards. Then we'll see how you feel about losing your rights!

A judgeship is a position that requires good judgement. Why would anyone want to put a conservative, that by definition is a person with a medical condition that impairs judgement, in that position? Should we let pilots fly drunk too? The rule for success is putting the most intelligent candidate in the highest position. A liberal is a natural choice over a conservative in that regard as well. When we cut the crap and start just putting smart candidates up instead of morons, maybe there'd actually be a choice.

This guy was caught lying in open court by Judge Bruhn. How can you endorse him in good conscience? He lied in open court!!!

Hmm that sounds interesting. Where's the documentation of that? We've come to expect lying from Republicans, but Democrats are held to a much higher standard. Please enlighten us.

There are others interested. Stay tuned.

Sue Zimet wants to be that.
