Where is Julian Schreibman hiding? HELP OUT!!!

It's sad to see Mike Hein hanging by his ankles as Republican party leaders relentlessly attack him from all sides. Mike needs and deserves help from his party chairman, but where is Julian? Is Julian in over his head? Does he understand his job? Is he spending to much time working in New York City? John Parete would have been out front, standing side by side working for and protecting his candidate. We know Julian has supported Sue Zimet and Dave Donaldson all along but please get out and support the Democrats choice.

The good news for Mike and Elliott is that there will be a tidal wave riding through Ulster County and all Democrats are going to be sworn in January 1st, 2009. What should be a concern to Democrats is what support can their nominee for County Clerk expect next year? How does he recruit legislative and town candidates when he won't even support candidates for such important offices this year. Democrats are already complaining about Julian's erratic behavior. I guess the honeymoon is over.

Its nice that you acknowledge that Mike Hein is hanging by his ankles. He deserves the hanging for "fleecing" the taxpayers of Ulster.

Julian is a joke and is definitely in over his head. What fools the people who supported him are. No clue.

the tidal wave will be smart real citizens voting against the democratic low-life phonies like NOBAMA & Hein. fleecing the taxpayers for their socialist agenda,,,

McCain-Palin !!!!!!

Welcome Back Jeremy Blaber.....Why are you not putting your name on this blog.

Maybe he should be replaced with Tom Hoffay who lost his big paying job in Albany.

Mike Hein spent all that time auditing the LEWR.... why doesn't he spend some time auditing the DSS who has not produced an annual report in over two years.

DSS is 65% of the County Budget and 65% of $350 million dollars is a lot of money. DSS also added 100 employees during the "hiring freeze"

oh... what's that? They send checks to Christine Hein, and who signed them on behalf of Ulster County? Take a guess. He's got a big fat belly.

Oh I see why Mike doesn't want to audit DSS now.

By the way, I think the law says that if you have the authority to audit a department, that it's illegal to have personal contracts with that department.

Mike Hein needs to resign now.

This blog reeks of sore losers. Put your name where you mouth is.

This blog is not Jeremy's.

We will address Tom Hoffay in the near future.

We do all we can to make sure our tips are credible before posting. So far we are comfortable with what we have learned and we want to thank all of our sources.

Our goal is to inform the public on what is really happening in Ulster County Politics. Many times we will beat the news organizations and we are proud of that.

Maybe Cahill was right when he cited a rift in the Democrat party.

The man seems to know his stuff.

Interesting. When you find him you better tell him to head over to the Town of Ulster and help out his boy.

Check out http://ulstercommonsense.blogspot.com/ for the story

I think that Jeremiah Common Sense has a point on the other blog.

He pointed out that the Town of Ulster and City of Kingston (where their Supervisor and Mayor are not up for election) have DOUBLE DIGIT tax increases and in Ulster County where the Administrator is trying to become executive put out a single digit tax increase.

Sounds like a coordinated plan to me. Anyone know about budget from towns that are Democratically controlled?

What a plan! You two guys (Sotille and Woerner) put all the money in your budget, I decrease mine, I get elected and hire you! You don't have to worry about being relected to the Town of Ulster and City of Kingston, because I will appoint you Deputy Executive Sottile and Woerner.

Beware taxpayers. It's all a shell game.

Checks from DSS to Christine Hein, signed by Lew Kirschner are posted at Ulster Politics

Read the charter, 11:57. The County Executive's deputies should have masters degrees and 10 years experience. I don't think Woerner has the experience or background. Sottile would be a huge liability even if he does have the experience.

For the longest time everyone has heard about the "corruption" in Ulster County. People have talked about Mike Hein and Lew Kirschner being the "Good Old Boys".

Now I see what they are talking about. Lew Kirschner cuts checks from the Ulster County Department of Social Services to Mike Hein's wife Christine Hein. She cashes them.

Disgusting.

11:12 - Do you think a little thing like "the charter" would stop Mike Hein from doing whatever he pleases?

The law says that he shouldn't have contracts with a county agency that he has the authority to audit.

He has the contracts. He just doesn't think the law applies to him.

John Parete would be out front helping Mike Hein? Like he helped Jon Sennett last year, right?
