Welcome to U.C. Political Fishbowl

Welcome to Ulster County's newest political blog. We promise you'll get all the important news and information right here first. Our team will keep you up to date of what is going on in our backyard. We will discuss politics at all levels, State, County, and Towns.

We will call it like it is, no holding back. If you can't handle the truth then don't bother coming back.

OK, I guess we all will give you a honeymoon grace period to see where you're coming from; it shouldn't take long to see if you are an honest broker or biased flacks.

As for your "team"... it would be helpful if we knew WHO were the PERSONS behind the curtain, as that would let us know right away whether this blog has any usefulness or is just one more spin machine for particular narrow interests.

Care to let down the mask?

Is this a reprise of "Kingston's Political Fishbowl"?

Or is the a copy of kingstontruth?

Hey Krulick, I don't care who is behind the curtain. What I do care about is learning the "other side" of the story. And from what I have seen with the two additional postings; Zimet and Bischoff it would seem that there are other skeletons in Ulster County.

How timely that its Halloween soon.

Hey, anonymous... *I* care who is behind the curtain, and so should anyone interested in distinguishing SPIN from REPORTING.

We ALL have biases to a greater or lesser degree, and where we stand on issues and persons is usually dependent on where we are coming from, and one's personal history and political affiliations are likely to shade, if not overwhelm, any attempts at objectivity.

IF the persons behind this blog are coming here with specific and partisan pre-determined attitudes and axes to grind, WE should know it, because it helps us determine whether the information they purvey is reasonably objective or heavily slanted and based on personal agendas.

It makes a big difference if those behind this blog are actually partisan hacks PRETENDING to be "fair and balanced" observers. It's a lot easier to put their comments into proper perspective (or even dismiss them) IF we know WHO they are, as that will explain a lot about WHY they are taking the stands they are.

Dig into the Larkin, Spada, Bradley Forst Meats/Noah Hotel property scam - how many City officials or corporation counsel's got paid off to allow these dirtbgs to illegally hold this property for thirty years and then fill their pockets via the Finkle/Sottile/Oliveri make believe Blaichman Public financing scheme.

to 8:57 - you forgot Hinchey - he secured $9M for Blaichman and all he (Blaichman) did was demolish the building and destroy a city street in the process. Where did the money go?

Finally. About time. I'd waited years for this. Never before in the annals of...

I've seldom read such pontifical, presumptous, Neanderthal posturing as your's Steve. No wonder you're voting for all the wrong candidates.

Jeeeeesus KEE-rist, what bulshit. Don't you have ANYONE who REALLY listens to you? Otherwise, you wouldn't foist this crap on our innocent eyes.

Boa viagem, veadinho,
