Schreibman and Patterson screw Schneer

Analyzing the recent appointment of Deborah Scneer one would have to say Governor Patterson and incompetent Democratic boss Julian Schreibman bungled the entire process.

When appointing a judge to a vacancy the process is supposed to be an independent selection process. What Schreibman and Patterson did was turn it into an obvious political process. The original appointment was done on merit, the selection of Deb Schneer was done for politics.

The public knows this entire process was a sham and it tarnish's Ms. Schneer. The first question people ask is "is she qualified?" She was chosen because of politics, not qualification. This is very troubleing for someone who wants to be the highest elected judge in the county. Schneer didn't need this so why did she accept the appointment?

It is almost always a political process, but this case was handled in an incredibly incompetent fashion and comes across as blatantly political.

She still needs Senate confirmation.
And with the Senate the way it is who knows when/if that will ever happen.

Until you put a name behind your opinions your blog has no relevancy. Follow Blaber, Madsen, Bernardo, Cahill et al. who put their name where their mouth is.

Both the American revolution and the French revolution were inspired by an anonymous author. Anonymous authors are far more relevant and more persuasive than named ones. I think both of you morons need to go back to school or admit your intentions are to start witchhunts.
